A wide variety of materials can be engraved, marked and cut. See our sample material list. We are only limited by our clients and our imaginations. Fantom Laser utilizes a CO2 laser. Our max single piece size is 20-inches x 32-inches. Fantom laser also can engrave cylindrical objects utilizing our rotary attachment. We can process tumblers, cups, vases and bottles of various sizes and diameters. Our max single piece size in the rotary attachment is approx. 8-inches in diameter x 26-inches in length (depending on the shape and contour).

The laser offers precise cutting for numerous different applications including custom model making, cabinet making, custom cards and leather.
Drinkware is available in numerous forms and materials. Laserable ceramics, ceramic marking, glass engraving, metal marking and leatherette sleeves.
It is easier to say what we cannot engrave. Metal, ceramic, and certain plastics.
Glass can be laser engraved. The lower the lead content, the cheaper the glass, the better glass engraves. Glass can also be marked in the following colors; bronze, blue, black, green and white. We cannot cut glass.
Industrial signs and ID tags for your plant or motor control center (MCC). Metal marked stainless steel ID tags. Multi layered plastic signs laser engraved to reveal a different core color. Certain product are UV stabe and outdoor weatherable.
Veg tan leather laser cuts and engraves beautifully with great detail for custom coasters, key chains and other unique gifts. Leatherette which is a laserable faux leather is designed to remove a thin top coat and reveal a different color.
Glass and ceramic can be marked in bronze, blue, black, green and white. Certain uncoated metals can be marked in black, pearl white and copper.
Coated metals like anodized aluminum and powder coated stainless steel laser engrave beautifully with great detail. Certain uncoated metals can be marked in black, pearl white and copper.

Wood engraves and cuts beautifully with great detail. We can effectively cut up to 3/8”thk with multiple passes. Charring will always occur on the laser cut edge. Different woods cut engrave differently. Cherry, basswood and alder are some of our favorites.
